Apart from being Scott’s father, Lee has a long experience with the Riviera brand stemming back to the inception of the company in Terrey Hills in 1980. Spending 10 years working for industry stalwart Mike Gaffikin, then from 1990 owning Lee Dillon Marine (LDM) which later was known to be Riviera Sales Sydney. Moving on from that, being the Retail Director of Riviera Marine and shareholder, moved into a non-executive Director role before retiring from the board in 2008.
In 2010, current Riviera CEO Wes Moxey and Lee started designing and then building the Belize range. Upon acquiring Riviera Australia, Rodney Longhurst also acquired Belize Motoryachts.
R Marine Pittwater once again came under Lee’s control until poor health led him to depart the dealership.
In late 2018, Scott asked Lee to join him in the business to assist with administration and in an advisory role, which Lee was very pleased to do!
