Two new model premieres will lead a beacon of boating excellence at Palm Beach International Boat Show in Florida (23-26 March 2017).
The highly awarded marque’s stunning red-carpet showcase will reflect Riviera’s hallmark luxury, innovation, blue-water sea-keeping capability and superior owner enjoyment.
Also on display from Australia’s 2015 and 2016 Marine Exporter of the Year and its dedicated dealer Grande Yachts International will be the sporty Riviera 445 SUV, the stunning 5400 Sport Yacht and, from the timelessly classic Belize collection, the impressive 54 Daybridge.
International sales director Chris McCafferty said the premium quality of the Riviera luxury motor yachts on display in Palm Beach simply has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
“Riviera is driven to enhance the fun and fulfillment of our growing global family of discerning luxury motor yacht owners,” he said.
“Our talented team of 550 designers, engineers and master craftsmen continually strives to refine the easy-to-use technology and equipment, and the practical design aspects, that ensure the joy of boating with Riviera is always a sheer pleasure.”
Riviera 4800 Sport Yacht
The 4800 Sport Yacht boasts a multitude of entertaining features with alfresco seating in the cockpit, foredeck lounge, tender garage, aft galley and spacious salon, an atrium lounge that serves as the perfect retreat for owners as well as two spacious staterooms and two bathrooms.
All the Sport Yacht series hallmarks are embedded deeply in her DNA – sleek styling, luxurious single-level living and entertaining lay-out and superb sea-keeping capabilities – and she is powered by the new Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 system with twin D8 diesel engines and IPS15 pod-drives.
“Owners of the 4800 Sport Yacht will enjoy Riviera’s spirited performance, joystick maneuverability and the innovative Glass Cockpit system that makes boating today with Riviera just so easy,” said Mr McCafferty.
Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge
The three- stateroom/two-bathroom Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge – fully enclosed on four sides of the flybridge, a brand-new cockpit and mezzanine design and a full-beam master stateroom on the accommodation level – is a stylish and true blue-water yacht.
“The 57 Enclosed Flybridge is the embodiment of innovation, from her fresh-thinking design to her state-of-the-art navigation systems, and right through to her final fit-out and luxuriously polished finish,” said Mr McCafferty. “Her inspiring new cockpit and mezzanine layout creates an entirely new indoor/outdoor living experience that takes flybridge yacht design to another level.”
Standard propulsion in the 57 Enclosed Flybridge is via twin IPS3-1200 pod drives with D13 engines (2 x 662kw/900hp) with three joystick controls. There are two engine options available for this model – twin IPS2-950 (2 x 533kW/725hp) pod drives with D11 engines (also with three joysticks) or the new CAT C12.9 (2 x 735kW/1000hp) engines and shaft drives with bow thruster and optional Express Joystick System. All propulsion options for the Riviera 57 offer innovative touchscreen navigation and CZone digital switching systems.
The Riviera Advantage
Riviera is recognized as being at the forefront of the luxury motor yacht market, not only in terms of superior build quality but through fully embracing innovative and easy-to-use systems and technology onboard its internationally acclaimed designs.
“A 5-year warranty on all Volvo Penta systems is now standard with every new Riviera, spanning Volvo Penta helm stations, steering and propellers as well as the major componentry of their high performance drivelines and fuel-efficient engines,” said Mr McCafferty.
“Available worldwide, this extended warranty complements the Riviera 5-year structural warranty and provides even greater peace of mind for our valued Riviera boating family members that ensures they enjoy ‘the time of their lives’.
“If you are intending to attend the Palm Beach International Boat Show, come and say g’day to the Riviera team on the IntraCoastal Waterway on Flagler Drive. There’s direct access to the Riviera/Grande Yachts display in Palm Beach from Ramp 7.”
